I thought about making this statement all resume worthy, but my 50th birthday just flew by and I just don't feel like extolling my past accomplishments or dishing out the same old line of politically correct nonsense for the sake of making myself look larger than life. And no, I'm not turning into a grumpy old man or going through crisis, but rather a renaissance, or better yet a metamorphosis of thinking otherwise know as repentance. I'm going to be myself, because I like me alot, and know there are always great possibilities for me in Christ. In me Jesus likes to eat bread and sauce, dance, laugh, draw, play piano and swingin' hard bebop saxophone in church, change the chords to well known tunes, and continually present the Gospel to the broken hearted in ways they can harmonize with. In Jesus, I don't have to fit in, I am in, and welcomed with loving open arms. Jesus is much lighter and easier than many think.

I'm just taking fresh action on the blessings provided and favor shown me by my loving heavenly Father. He gave me some seeds to plant in the kingdom of heaven, and now I understand the program placed before me. I hope you can relate, and if you can't, certainly your time will come. A time will come when you look over into the promised land, heart established in righteousness, the life (Spirit) and love of God in you flowing with vigorous tone, and say something like this, "so what if there are giants in the land, there are also big juicy juicy grapes my Father wants me to call my own.

I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ and feature Him in everything I do, because only based on that relationship will I prosper. I wish I could say I've been a picture perfect believer, musician, businessman, father, son, husband, brother or friend, because I certainly have not. All I really know is that Jesus Christ is always bringing me to a good place to share in His holiness in the kingdom of heaven, where thief does not break in, moth does not destroy, and all things are possible. I have come to accept His loving discipline, correction, and occasional restrictive freedom in order to share in His divine holiness.

I've been shown everything through walking with Jesus.  From the day my heart sought Him for answers walking home from the basketball court in my neighborhood in Springfield, Va nearly 30 years ago,  he has been revealing Himself, granting me incredible love and favor beyond belief.  I can tell you about my experience, but only Jesus can confirm things in your heart. Ask Him whatever you want to know. He's marvelous!

Ok, one of my great blessings over the years is having the pleasure of traveling and tasting great food from all over the world. I have enjoyed barbecue city hopping the USA in all 50 states, and savored no less than 25 different curries in Asia, and experienced the kick of hotsauce from a myriad of cultures all the while performing music. Sauce ElatiOn is the spearhead of a project I've envisioned for years that fuses Jesus, music, business, art, food and culture into one expression. We are not seeking to be culinary experts, but share food, friends, stories, anecdotes, culture and Jesus. There will be plenty of original and interesting material for everyone to enjoy at SauceElatiOn, so I hope you will come back often to see what I am up to, and give me swift kick in the rear end if it seems I am lagging in the effort department. If you've got anything constructive to say, or feel led to join my vision quest, by all means make contact earthing.

"We have everything for life and godliness in Christ", and this is my axiom.

Blessings and love in Christ,

Otrie
